The Order of Time读后感锦集
《The Order of Time》是一本由Carlo Rovelli著作,Penguin Publishing Group出版的Hardcover图书,本书定价:$20.00,页数:256,特精心从网络上整理的一些读者的读后感,希望对大家能有帮助。
《The Order of Time》精选点评:
human beings are not things.
●Mellifluous! Oh Doctor Strange, surely you know things about TIME.
●Time is a beautiful song. I won’t wipe for its end.
《The Order of Time》读后感(一):人类和时间
《The Order of Time》读后感(二):最好的科普书
《The Order of Time》读后感(三):The order of time
...heat cannot pass from a cold body to a hot one. The crucial point here is the difference from what happens with falling bodies: a ball may fall, but it can also come back up, by rebounding, for instance. Heat cannot.
This is the /only/ basic law of physics that distinguishes the past from the future.
... every configuration is particular, every configuration is singular, if we look at all its details, since every configuration always has something about it that characterizes it in a unique way.
... The notion of “particularity” is born only at the moment we begin to see the universe in a blurred and approximate way. Boltzmann has shown that entropy exists because we describe the world in a blurred fashion. He has demonstrated that entropy is precisely the quantity that counts how many are the different configurations that our blurred vision does not distinguish between.
Our “present” does not extend throughout the universe. It is like a bubble around us. How far does this bubble extend? It depends on the precision with which we determine time... as humans, we distinguish tenths of a second only with great difficulty; we can easily consider our entire planet to be like a single bubble where we can speak of the present as if it were an instant shared by us all. This is as far as we can go.
oth the sources of blurring — quantum indeterminacy, and the fact that physical systems are composed of zillions of molecules — are at the heart of time. Temporality is profoundly linked to blurring. The blurring is due to the fact that we are ignorant of the microscopic details of the world. The time of physics is, ultimately, the expression of our ignorance of the world. Time is ignorance.
We have shaped an idea of “human being” by interacting with others like ourselves. ... I believe that our notion of self stems from this, not from introspection. When we think of ourselves as persons, I believe we are applying to ourselves the mental circuits that we have developed to engage with our companions.
《The Order of Time》读后感(四):一些摘要和个人解读
1. 世界
The world is not a collection of things, it is a collection of events.Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 799-800). Penguin Random House LLC.
2. 时间
It is the presence of abundant traces of the past that produces the familiar sensation that the past is determined. The absence of any analogous traces of the future produces the sensation that the future is open. The existence of traces serves to make it possible for our brain to dispose of extensive maps of past events. There is nothing analogous to this for future ones. This fact is at the origin of our sensation of being able to act freely in the world: choosing between different futures, even though we are unable to act upon the past.Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 1385-1389). Penguin Random House LLC. Kindle 版本. It was you who declared them to be particular, by taking note of which cards were in the front half of the pack at the beginning of the game.Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 1228-1229). Penguin Random House LLC.
3. 自我
We are processes, events, composite and limited in space and time. But if we are not an individual entity, what is it that founds our identity and its unity?Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 1444-1445). Penguin Random House LLC. Kindle 版本. I believe that we each have a concept of “my self” only because at a certain point we learn to project onto ourselves the idea of being human as an additional feature that evolution has led us to develop during the course of millennia in order to engage with other members of our group: we are the reflection of the idea of ourselves that we receive back from our kind.Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 1480-1483). Penguin Random House LLC. Kindle 版本. Because it is nothing but a fleeting structure of the world, an ephemeral fluctuation in the happening of the world, that which is capable of giving rise to what we are: beings made of time. That to which we owe our being, giving us the precious gift of our very existence, allowing us to create the fleeting illusion of permanence that is the origin of all our suffering.Carlo Rovelli. The Order of Time (Kindle 位置 1603-1606). Penguin Random House LLC.
