In the very beginning, I have to say that my English is not so good.
Let I talk about something about the book itself. This novel is not so impressive cause there is not any suspense. But after you read the whole book, you will be affecting spontaneously. Maybe that is caused by the sad ending (Kevin died), but the special friendship between Max and Kevin is what we should care more about. Max is a boy who was strong but wasn't smart, Kevin was smart but never grew his body. Their special characteristic made them to be the best friends. Actually I think this is a very the relationship between them is not only to be together, but also they rely on each other. The writer created the two strange person to show something more about friendship, such as discrimination, loneness and so on. That’s all I thought about this book.

In this book,Max and Freak,as they grew up,they became a team gradually.If you and another person become good friends,that means you have something in common,maybe the same interest,the fans of the same star,the same experience you had and so on. In the relationship between two friends,the most important thing is forgiving the mistake of he (she),don't worry about the conflict between you and your friend. Both of you have the different ideas about the same question,the best way to solve the question is having a conversation instead of make the choice by yourself. Max and Freak hardly had a conflict,maybe because they used their advantages to help each other.Freak had intelligent brain,but he was too small;Max was huge,but he was hard to learn the new things. Both of them had the advantage and shortcomings,but when they became the Freak the Mighty,nothing can stop them. The most important people in this world is your family and your friends. In China,we had a proverb called “friends is arms and legs”，it proved the significance of friends. Unfortunate,the little Freak died because of the disease. We can't see Freak the Mighty again,the only evidence that the team had been existed is the dictionary of Freak.

lt;Freak Thee Mighty> is a book which make me laugh,make me feel exciting,amazing,nervous,and even let me shed tears at the end of the book. I think I will never forget the story about Max and Kevin. The book told about the two totally opposites who became best friends. Maxwell Kane is a big and strongboy with lowself-esteem, he even thought himself is a butthead. However, Kevin is a small but intelligent boy bwho wears leg braces and uses crutches. As what Maxwell has said ,"I never had a brain until Freak came along and let me borrow his for a while, and that’s the truth, the whole truth." Kevin became Max's brain and Max became Kevin's body. The small boy always riding on the big boy's shoulders . They called themselves "Freak the Mighty".They take a lot of adventures together and Kevin even rescued Max from his evil father. At the time I thought freak the mighty can accompany by each other forever and grow up together,the bad news came. Kevin died in the hosipital because his heart was too big for his small body. What an shocking and sad ending. Kevin may have known that he would not have a long life,but he still gave Maxwell hope,helped him find confidence and laughed with him. Even though Kevin has gone, but the friendship between Max and him will never withered away.
《Freak The Mighty》读后感(五)：Shadows of Loneliness
#13; Form the beginning to the end, nearly everything changed, but Maxwell’s loneliness throughout the whole story. That’s the thing impressed me most in that book. After reading, I closed the book and thought: Maybe all of us are somewhat similar with that poor Maxwell, but even though we may seek through our life for Freak，he had never appeared. So what led to his loneliness？ His appearance, which called Frankenstein; His father the “Killer Kane”; Or is he real slow？ Everyone have there shortcoming and that’s where they got hurt from this world. And always, it’s not thier fault. In that case, he had learned to protect himself, in a simple way: keep out of this world. Only after he met Freak, the situation changed. One has a strong body, one has a big brain. Together they became powerful and both of them changed thier way and altitude of life. But somehow, I feel that Freak’s character wasn’t that real. It was just like a ferry tale. How could that wired kid be real in the real life？ In another word: How could we have such a perfect friend in our daily life？ So I guess Freak may be just an shadow of Maxwell, a shadow which he wished himself to be. Still, in the end, Freak dead. Shadows always have to disappear. So was his father. Life goes on. “Nothing is a drag, kid. Think about it.” Loretta said. Shadows all gone, the dim one, the brilliant one. And he, himself finaly become Freak the Mighty.
