  When John was growing up, other kids felt sorry for him. His parents always had him weeding the garden, carrying out the garbage and delivering newspapers. But when John reached adulthood, he was better off than his childhood playmates. He had more job satisfaction, a better marriage and was healthier. Most of all, he was happier. Far happier.

  These are the findings of a 40-year study that followed the lives of 456 teenage boys from Boston. The study showed that those who had worked as boys enjoyed happier and more productive lives than those who had not. “Boys who worked in the home or community gained competence (能力) and came to feel they were worthwhile members of society,” said George Vaillant, the psychologist (心理学家) who made the discovery. “And because they felt good about themselves, others felt good about them.”

  Vaillant’s study followed these males in great detail. Interviews were repeated at ages 25, 31 and 47. Under Vaillant, the researchers compared the men’s mental-health scores with their boyhood-activity scores with their boyhood-activity scores. Points were awarded for part-time jobs, housework, effort in school, and ability to deal with problems.

Those who had done the most boyhood activities were twice as likely to have warm relations with a wide variety of people, five times as likely to be well paid and 16 times less likely to have been unemployed. The researchers also found that IQ and family social and economic class made no real difference in how the boys turned out. Working----at any age----is important.   Failure is probably the most exhausting experience a person ever has. There is nothing more tiring than not succeeding.

  We experience this tiredness in two ways: as start-up fatigue(疲惫) and performance fatigue. In the former case, we keep putting off a task because it has either too boring or too difficult. And the longer we delay it, the more tired we feel.

  Such start-up fatigue is very real, even if not actually physical, not something in our muscles and bones. The solution is obvious though perhaps not easy to apply: always handle the most difficult job first.

  Years ago, I was asked to write 102 essays on the great ideas of some famous authors. Applying my own rule, I determined to write them in alphabetical(按字母顺序), never letting myself leave out a tough idea. And I always started the day’s work with the difficult task of essay-writing. Experience proved that the rule works.

  Performance fatigue is more difficult to handle. Though willing to get started, we cannot seem to do the job right. Its difficulties appear so great that, however hard we work, we fail again and again. In such a situation, I work as hard as I can-then let the unconscious take over.

  When planning Encyclopaedia Britannica (《大英百科全书》), I had to create a table of contents based on the topics of its articles. Nothing like this had ever been done before, and day after dat I kept coming up with solutions, but none of them worked. My fatigue became almost unbearable.

  One day, mentally exhausted, I wrote down all the reasons why this problem could not be solved. I tried to convince myself that the trouble was with the problem itself, not with me. Relived, I sat back in an easy chair and fell asleep.

  An hour later, I woke up suddenly with the solution clearly in mind. In the weeks that followed, the solution which had come up in my unconscious mind provided correct at every step. Though I worked as hard as before, I felt no fatigue. Success was now as exciting as failure had been depressing.

  2017年安徽各科目高考时间安排公布 高考人数近50万

  据教育部规定,2017年全国统一高考将于6月7日至8日举行。据安徽省教育招生考试院统计,2017年安徽省普通高考共报名考生49.86万人。其中文科考生20.31万人,理科考生29.55万人,分别占41%和59%。高考考生人数仍位居全国前列。

  安徽高考科目及考试时间安排

  2017年安徽省普通高校统一招生考试模式为:3+文科综合/理科综合+学业水平测试+综合素质评价。其中统考科目为:3+文科综合/理科综合。“3”指语文、数学和外语三个科目,其中数学分为文科数学和理科数学;“文科综合”包括思想政治、历史和地理学科;“理科综合”包括物理、化学和生物学科。

  语文、数学(文、理)、外语(含听力)各科满分为150分,综合科目满分为300分,文化课总分的满分值为750分。

  全国统考科目中的外语分英语、俄语、日语、法语、德语、西班牙语等6个语种,由考生任选其中一个语种参加考试。

  从前天晚上开始,雨水在我省全面铺开,江南的雨水尤为猛烈,多地出现了暴雨。在降水同时,气温也快速下跌,全省大部分地区的降温幅度达到了12℃~14℃。明后两天是高考时期,昨日上午,省气象台发布了高考期间天气预报,我省以多云天气为主,无明显降水,气温开始回升,最高气温在29℃~32℃,利于考生休息和应考。

  考生需掌握答题技巧

  一是整体把握、灵活应对。考生接到监考员发放的考试试卷和答题卡后,先整体浏览一下试卷的题型、题量、难度和相关要求,对答题顺序和时间安排作整体把握,以便灵活应答。

  二是精心细致、认真审题。每一题目作答前,考生一定要审清题目的要求,弄清题意,谨防因审题失误而失分。

  三是先易后难、把握时间。先看几道比较容易的题目,稳定情绪,消除紧张,增强信心,然后由易到难作答,防止因纠结于难题而耽误整体答题时间。

  四是综合科目、合理安排。文科综合和理科综合各有三份试题卷和一张答题卡,考生可结合自身情况按照自己的学科强弱、试题难易程度、题目内容和类型确定答题策略,并在答题卡上对应科目、序号和区域内答题,切勿“张冠李戴”。

  五是注意要求、规范作答。高考语文、数学、英语、综合科目均实行网上评卷。选择题答案须用2B铅笔填涂,非选择题须用黑色字迹的钢笔或签字笔作答。答题时,考生要在答题卡对应题号指定的区域内答题,不要答错位置或越界作答。如需修改选择题答案,要用橡皮轻擦干净后修改;如需对非选择题答案进行修改,不得用涂改类物品,要用修改符号划去后,紧挨上方或下方写出新的答案,但不能超出该题目的答题区域边框。选择题涂点时,既要规范又要快捷。

  考前心态调节最重要

  首先,越临近高考,心态调节越重要,考生务必及时调整好心态,基于自身制定的考试方案设定客观合理的期望值,不过分期望“超常”发挥,不多虑“失常”的偶发,以平和自信的心态,更加从容地参加考试。其次,考生要在考前48小时按照考试的作息时间调好生物钟,保证睡眠,不要过度紧张,也不要过分放松。建议考生要有适合自己的调节、放松方式,将身体调整到最佳状态。

  完善义务教育免试就近入学的具体办法,试行学区制和九年一贯制对口招生;

  改进高中阶段学校考试招生方式,逐步建立基于初中学业水平考试,结合综合素质评价的高中阶段学校招生制度;

  实行优质普通高中和优质中等职业学校招生名额合理分配到区域内初中的办法,进一步落实和完善进城务工人员随迁子女就学和升学考试的政策措施;

  加强义务教育阶段民办学校招生改革。

  高中学业水平考试

  合格性和等级性考试并行

  自2019年秋季入学的高中一年级学生开始执行分为合格性考试和等级性考试的高中学业水平考试办法,由省教育厅组织实施。

  合格性考试

  成绩是高中学生毕业的重要依据

  科目为语文、数学、外语、思想政治、历史、地理、物理、化学、生物、信息技术、通用技术、体育与健康、艺术(或美术、音乐)、综合实践活动14门,以及物理、化学、生物3门科目的实验操作。

  等级性考试

  成绩是普通高校招生录取总成绩的组成部分

  由考生根据报考高校要求和自身特长,从思想政治、历史、地理、物理、化学、生物中选择3门作为等级性考试科目参加考试。

  高考改革

  2022年高考不分文理

  我省高考综合改革的具体方案将在2019年6月底前报教育部备案后向社会公布。按方案设定的高考改革时间表和路线图,我省将从2019年秋季入学的高中一年级学生开始启动高考综合改革,到2022年高考时全面实施。

  高考综合改革后,高校招生录取总成绩,由统一高考的语文、数学、外语3个科目成绩和高中学业水平等级性考试3个科目成绩组成。

  语数外3科

  统一高考语文、数学、外语科目不变、分值不变,不分文理科。

  等级性考试3科

  由考生从思想政治、历史、地理、物理、化学、生物中选择3门作为等级性考试科目参加考试,其成绩计入高校招生录取总成绩。

  中高职升本专

  小语种人才将可免试入学

  目前,我省中职毕业生可通过参加普通高考、参加全省统一组织的“文化素质+职业技能”的考核评价、高职(专科)院校单独考试招生、中职技能拔尖人才免试就读高职院校、参加省内普通高校专升本考试等方式进入更高级别的院校深造。

  方案明确,技能拔尖高职应届毕业生,可免试就读普通本科高校。在2017年,普通高校专升本考试小语种试行优秀学生免试入学政策。我省南亚东南亚语种的高职高专优秀应届毕业生,可免试就读对应的南亚东南亚语种本科专业。

  保障人才选拔

  加大民族地区考生招生照顾

  方案明确,主动服务我省民族团结进步示范区、生态文明建设排头兵、面向南亚东南亚辐射中心建设,加大对边疆地区和民族地区考生招生照顾力度,积极支持并实施少数民族预科班、特有民族班等照顾措施,确保边疆少数民族考生录取率稳中有升,高于全省平均增长水平。

  方案提出,实施好国家、地方和高校的农村贫困地区定向招生专项计划工作,形成保障农村学生有机会上重点高校和省属本科院校的长效机制。

  高三四班,尽管相处的时间只是短短的几个月,但留给我的是最为深刻。父亲说,高中的同学到现在他也记忆犹新,一开始我还难以理解,以为高中的同学同以前的一样,一离开便谁都忘了谁。到今天才明白真的有那么原来分别真的有那么沉重。

  一百天的时间固然短暂,但它也能包含着我们的付出。四班,有着我们的酸甜苦辣,有着我们的欢笑,有着我们的困苦,有着我们的悲伤,有着我们的汗水和泪水。

  六月的季节,阳光明媚,风和日丽,这是个美妙的季节,是个毕业的季节也是分离的季节。我也最终将和我的朋友们分别,尽管是心痛,也是不得已。也许以后的日子再也难以想见,也许以后可能再也见不到,有着很多的也许,可这也是我们必须经历的,有经历才会有成长。

  “书山有路勤为径”“书到用时方恨少”古人诚不欺我也。浑浑噩噩的度过十几载,现梦中惊醒,唉……

  明天就要高考了,是真正决定的时刻到了!

  1. 文章要有中心,语言通顺,书写合乎规范(标点占格,阿拉伯数码两个占一格);

  2. 时间、地点、单位、事件(经过、原因、结果)要交代清楚;

  3. 写出家长、学校各自的态度和认识;

  4. 尽量不超过190字(含标点),字数超出要扣分;

  5. 某些不很重要的材料可以省略,可以不按照原材料的顺序,也可以不使用原句。
