爱伦坡顶着“侦探小说的鼻祖，科幻小说的先驱，短篇哥特小说的巅峰”的大名，让很多喜爱“神秘”的伪侦探迷们慕名而读。
我已经没法想清楚 是花了多长的时间看完这一套小说的 只是断断续续的突然间就发现自己看完了。。。这也正是因为爱伦的小说很适合一个一个分开去读 除了莫格街凶杀案和玛丽罗杰奇案是有联系之外 其他的每个小故事更像是有着惊悚情节的本质上却是揭示了很多人的本性的小故事。
还有些小故事 倒是可以从中学到 一些遇险求生的方法 以及怎么使尸体不会腐烂的方法 还有 解破一个密码要怎么去循循渐进。。。。
爱伦坡的头衔也确实不枉虚名。。。
《爱伦坡惊悚小说全集》读后感(二)：看的上半本
Allan Poe（爱伦·坡）
非常有趣的是，这本书的kindle版只有上，没有下。
带插图，全都是封面这种风格的“鬼样子”，封面其实也代表着作品风格。
坡的写作方式很不一样，不着边际的话很多，刚开始看的时候会很无语，我就是个“活例子”：看了好半天，作者话锋一转，然后发现那只是故事的一个引子，正文还没开始呢。
坡很有说书人的潜质，他的故事读起来会让你有这样一种感觉：在现场听他讲故事。
整本书的故事都很阴郁，带有扑朔迷离的神秘色彩，但“奇谲”这个词却不合适形容本书，“诡谲”才合适。
有时候他的故事中会东拉西扯，我觉得挺好玩的，也许其他人有不同意见。
说说很喜欢的几篇：
《黑猫》，以前读过了，强烈的恐怖感，一个人的时候还是不要读了。
《金甲虫》，寻宝故事，有种回到海盗时代的错觉，和《金银岛》是一个类型。
《大漩涡历险记》，从漩涡逃生的故事，但这个故事更为优秀的地方在于对大漩涡的描述，细致，令人身临其境。
再说说其他几篇：
《玛丽·罗杰奇案》，纯推理故事，没耐住性子看完，据说是根据当时一真实案件而来（未破），同《莫格街凶杀案》和《失窃的信函》一道，同属“神探杜宾”系列。
坡在美国文学史上的地位挺高，不过《外国文学史》居然没提，真是莫名其妙。
对他的了解很少。

至今我仍不会忘记自己遇到爱伦坡的那一刻：那是初二暑假一个阴郁的下午，空气中满是沉闷和躁动，我走进离家不远的一个二手书店里，在书堆里徘徊，百无聊赖的寻找着可以打发时间的书，突然，一本封面上印着巨大幽灵脸的书映入了我的眼帘，封面上写着《红死：爱伦坡惊悚短篇小说集》，那一刻，我感觉被什么东西击中了。
虽然这本书是一本盗版书，而且还是一本二手书，但却为让只读过“世界名著丛书”的我从此进入了一个新的世界，也认识了爱伦坡这个有着独特死亡魅力的作家。

刚才看了一下豆瓣上网友对于此书的评价，基本上算是很简略的感想吧，没有什么细致之处，还不如百度上的简介看着有用。
人们对于爱伦坡的评价都是不错的，但多数人给此书只有4星，我猜是个人口味缘故吧，考虑到爱伦坡所处的年代，以爱伦坡的智慧、手法、成就，他的小说肯定是5星无疑了。
～～看来想深入了解爱伦坡的特点以及后人对其诸多著作多角度的解读，还得看看期刊论文，百度贴吧也还靠谱。
作为推理小说的鼻祖——几乎算是创造出了这类题材，其创造力可见一斑！推理可是最见逻辑功力的，能构造悬疑故事的人，理性思维必须异常强大。据说爱伦坡非常聪明，物理化学等各类知识通晓极多，他本人就像是侦探小说主人公一样博学敏感。文理兼修的天才～～
但要说创造力，科幻小说必然是最能体现其能力的，虽然他作品不多，但他的科幻小说年代很早，远超越所在时代，其幻想能力绝对首屈一指！许多科幻大师都受其影响！
他作品最大的特点有这些词可以形容：黑暗、压抑、忧郁、诡异、迷幻、死亡、凄凉、沧桑、哥特式、恐怖、丑恶……全是负面词语。借助夸张、隐喻和象征，他总用稀奇古怪的情节展现虚幻场景。深渊、城堡、暗室、暴风雨、荒郊是他的常用场景，故事主人公同他自己一样，总是备受孤独、死亡意识与精神反常的折磨。暗黑故事的现实意义是它们映照了当下社会中人们已经异化了的心理状态：孤独、恐惧、焦虑、烦恼、绝望等。
在制造意境，渲染气氛方面，我一时间还想不到胜于爱伦坡的作者，这种能力是我最佩服的！电影大师里，蒂姆·伯顿、大卫芬奇、大卫林奇、詹姆斯·麦克提格等导演倒是有点韵味，让观众多少能感觉到一丝小说被影像化到底是什么滋味。

目前读了三分之二，手机里的两个版本换着看的。爱伦坡充分证明天才作家都是超越时代预言未来的神人，有玛丽罗杰疑案中对新闻媒体的尖锐批判为证。
“报纸的目的，一般来说并不是想探讨事情的真相和原因，而是想炮制一种观点，制造出一场轰动来。当探讨真相与制造轰动两者不相矛盾时，新闻界才愿意探讨事情的真相。一家报纸，如果只提出普普通通的看法，它不会得到大众的青睐。只有观点同普通的看法大相径庭时，才被大众认为深刻。推理与文学颇为相似，只有发些惊人之论才会立刻受到普遍赞赏。其实，不管推理还是文学，故发惊人之论都是最低层次的东西。”
尽管整体来看，推理篇中的五篇文章演绎推理的部分十分薄弱，依然处于类型文学的草创期，但后世侦探推理小说的几个基本类型已经确立，密室杀人后消失的神秘凶手，，故布疑阵伪造凶案现场，杜邦其人的智慧与迷人魅力显露无疑，侦探+助手+警探的铁三角组合也初步形成。
奇谈篇中，个人最为欣赏陷坑与钟摆，爱伦坡在文字营造的黑暗阴森氛围中，推动死亡不断迫近的节奏的手段极为高明，让读者有身临其境的紧张感，因此在结局主角意外获救后才会如释重负；大漩涡历险记中对大漩涡的刻画也十分细致生动，比之凡尔纳在海底两万里中的描述更为具体；厄舍府的倒塌由于电影超脱的引用早有耳闻，但这个版本的文笔翻译一般，没有将那种繁华落幕后的颓败荒凉氛围很好地传达出来；黑猫一篇的情节最为清晰明了，节奏紧凑，反转流利，堪为短篇典范。
今天把书看完了，发现威廉威尔逊一篇写的也相当不错，双重人格自我毁灭的创意比史蒂文森的化身博士早了四十七年，比今敏大神的未麻的部屋早了一百四十八年，比娜塔莉波特曼的黑天鹅早了一百七十一年。

并没有看完全部，看了《黑猫》《厄榭屋的倒塌》《活埋》，其他的只是打开浏览了一下。大同小异。
爱伦坡应该是历史地位比较突出，但在今天而言，我并不觉得他的小说有什么特别的价值。论诡异恐怖，今人很多比他好。除了诡异恐怖，他又没说什么别的重要的东西，类似人性、历史之类的。
他的历史地位：侦探小说和恐怖小说的鼻祖。
写作手法：哦，这个倒是比较特别。他是“说书者”，一个讲故事的人。他的小说都是第一人称，都是以“我告诉你哦，我当年经历过一件诡异的事情……”的语气来写的。
其实，这个写法很讨巧的，组织语言的难度比较低（口述经历就是最原始简单的写作形式），也比较容易吸引听众（只要故事够猎奇）。但是我发现好像没什么人那么写。

Allan Poe is known as one of the most prominent American writer in 19th century. He has his own opinion about writing. In his idea people should write for creation and improve the taste of literature. Everyone should build their own aesthetic theory. He has some famous work, just like he Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Tell-tale Heart, and The Gold-Bug and so on. He is not only a writer but also a poet. His poetry is also famous. The rhyme of his poetry is beautiful. His words are excellent and pointed. He has built another world for us. By his words we can seek the world inside. We will shock and shiver. We will afraid and tremble. But I don’t think his works are just some insane and exaggerated deｓｃｒｉｐｔion. I think Allan Poe tell the true world by the way. He keeps telling the truth by his works which most people don’t believe.
Allan Poe likes to explore the state of human being’s spirit. He is still interested in the sensational and horror story. So Allan Poe’s works are filled with the terrible and mysterious feeling. But readers like it. Although his work always strange and dusky, they show the dark side in human’s nature. Allan Poe’s works are unique. The deｓｃｒｉｐｔion about the morbid subconscious mind brings readers into a horrible world and reflects the universal morbid spirit which is hidden in the nature of human mind. Allan’s works make people frighten. But his proficient writing skill still appeal a lot of loyalty readers.
Allan Poe deeply influenced the American literature in 19th century. And even the French also like his work very much. So many famous writers and poets praise him. Allan Poe creates a new style. Allan Poe also a writer who is good at using humor. He often uses the satire in his work. In part he is the father of detective story. I like his work. His works are suspended with so much mystery and suspense. Sometimes it just seems he is telling some insane things. But I think we have missed so much in the daily life and finally the things which we have lost come back again from Allan’s story. The best one I like is Thou Art the Man. It is still a detective story but not a famous one. I like it because you can find the face which shows by people is different from the one’s nature. Now in China there are so many people like the so-called GOOD MAN in the work. It is some kind of strong satire. Sometimes some people show their kind and pursuit for the truth. But they cheat in the exam and show cold heart for the suicide. I don’t know why them still think they are the good person and the others different them are bad. How ridiculous to judge people! So I find how acute the Allan’s insight. Even he lives in the different age and society. But he notices the nature of human beings. He knows the dark side in the body no matter how hard the people want to deny it. Allan Poe is an honest writer. Maybe he is the conscience of human being. He tells the dark, the bad, and the decay. He tells people to not forget and neglect the part. He reminds people to know what we are. His words are pointed and frank.
His tales of mystery and the macabre make so many people think him as a horrible person. Is he a real devil？ His life is so rough that he develops a special model of thinking. Allan Poe was born in Boston. he was an orphan. He cannot be brought up as the others who have the normal family. He experienced lots of things, just like enlisting in the Army and failing as an officer’s cadet and so on. These kinds of experience enrich his mind and exercise his character. Maybe he is the first well-known American writer to try to earn a living through writing alone, resulting a financially difficult life and career. He creates his own style of literary criticism. His marriage is astounded. He married his 13-year-old cousin. And his death is still a mystery. The true reason is unknown and attributed to so many reasons. The whole experience of life makes Allan Poe and his works. His works influenced not only in the United States and around the world as well as in specialized field. Poe and his work appear throughout popular culture in literature, music, films, and television.
Allan Poe’s works stands for the trend of nihilism. It is different from the other famous writers in America. In Poe’s opinion, the God symbolizes the macabre nature of Fred. At that time it is difficult for Americans to understand the meaning of Poe’s works. Allan Poe is alone at his age. It has been a long time before he is remembered again. At the 20th century, Americans begin to find themselves from the passive idea of works of Allan Poe. Because at the time the so-called American Dream begin to break down. 无可置疑，埃德加·爱伦·坡是一名鬼才。
他是侦探小说的鼻祖——大名鼎鼎的夏洛克·福尔摩斯身上明明白白带着奥古斯特·杜宾的影子，性格骄傲孤僻，拥有超与常人的敏锐的观察能力和深刻的分析能力。
他是象征主义的先行者——冷漠无情的闹市孤人身上隐隐约约闪现了世界的罪恶，就像是绝望的魔鬼穿梭于喧嚣嘈杂、肮脏堕落的城市之中，无处没有他的足迹。
他是一个唯美主义者——他笔下亚瑟家的倾倒即使让人毛骨悚然却也美得令人窒息，忧郁的亚瑟和阴沉的亚瑟府演绎了黑暗压抑的死亡美学，散发着难以言说的怪诞的魅力。

《爱伦坡惊悚小说全集》读后感(十)：《爱伦 坡惊悚小说》读后感
对这样一部小说理应心怀敬意，我承认这一个月的阅读是一个充满着意外和惊喜的旅程，久违了这种读书的乐趣，以至于我在此刻提笔写读后感的时候，依然不知道是否能找到正确的角度，以及合适的语句来表达我对此书的感受。
我读这本书的初衷原本是一个很简单的理由，那就是只是听说此书是侦探小说的始祖，而造就小说世界的第一个名侦探：杜邦，我对此感到好奇，仅此而已，当然这个问题，我想我得到了满意的答案，无论是侦探小说的基本要素（比如语不惊人死不休并且特立独行的名侦探，负责记录并且反应慢半拍的助手，一贯愚蠢并且饱受鄙视的官方警察），还是它给后续小说的创作启发（比如以柯南道尔的福尔摩斯为例，《跳舞的小人》和爱伦坡的《金甲虫》的解密手法惊人相似，《四个签名》和爱伦坡的《莫洛街凶杀案》的作案手法几乎完全一样）。他确实奠定了现代侦探小说的基础。但是让我感到意外和惊喜的，并不是侦探小说方面的东西，而是其独特的哲学思考，和史诗一般的哥特式文字描述。
在我不多也不少的读书记忆中，哥特式的风格在很遥远的初中时代是读过造就了知名的德古拉伯爵的那一本《德拉库拉》，当时可能由于自己水平的限制，对这种风格并不以为然，甚至很是失望，小说既没有相应电影作品所带来的那一种来自”恐怖”的刺激，而且文字上与其说是”恐怖”不如说是一种欲说还休的”诡异”，也就是说你对他的感觉不是急切知道结果，又怕知道结果的那种不间断推理的预期，而是一种不停的理解作者在说什么的困惑，文字的重点并不在于”逻辑”，而更多的在于营造”气氛”，当时我并不知道这这种风格就是哥特式（我当时对这种风格的认识仅局限于建筑，比如巴黎圣母院，圣彼得大教堂），只是觉得这种小说过于的阴暗和完全唯心主义似的臆想和癫狂，让人深感不舒服。
这次读爱伦坡，很快就勾起了我上述的那种印象，文风很繁琐，甚至都感觉有点罗嗦，但是你很快就能静下心来仔细地品位其中的滋味，很多时候你会猛然发现，这说的不正是自己内心深处最隐秘的，也是最不可思议的意识，那种每个人都经历过的最抓狂的，在理智边缘极力控制自己过程中的那种说不清道不明的感觉，作者居然可以用这样一种笔调，赤裸裸地，夸张地表现出来，如此地精准和入木三分，随后会激起一种让自己都觉得恐怖的快感，比如《作恶的心魔》里的那种”莫名其妙地，不可控制地，自己和自己过不去地倔强。”，比如《活葬》里那种”突然醒来最怕看到某种情况”那一两秒钟内的恐惧，这才是真正的无法用语言表达的感受（而不是cctv里那种”无法用语言表达”的模式，那样只会让人困惑语文没学好还是太忸怩作态），而这些文字又是何等地适到好处。
在这些文字的描述中还时常冒出一些让我惊叹的哲学警句，很多时候我都即时的抄录到我的twitter上以作备忘 ，比如下面这些。
“媒体通常只会制造骇人听闻的话题，而不想挖掘事情的真相，即使媒体有时挖掘出了真相，那也只不过搭了炒作话题的顺风车罢了，纯属偶然，不必把媒体看得 太崇高。”
“无法与自己独处，是一个人最大的不幸。”
“人们之所以死去，不是屈服于天使，也不是臣服于死亡，而是意志已太薄弱，无法继续支撑自己活下去。”
爱伦坡很多大段大段的理论性描述，都值得细细品茗，一些论述乍看之下有点过于天马行空，但是仔细想想，谁又敢说自己在某个时候没有这样想过呢？是不是想过了，但是像做梦醒来之后那样，无法描述呢？也许这正是其最精妙之处吧？
